"Future Me" soft skills workshops

Purposeful use of technology

Students' use of technology will be facilitated on the English for Teens course through interaction with online workbooks, and digital presentation and poster tools, such as Sway and Google Slides. Digital teaching tools, such as Quizlet and Kahoot are used by teachers in class to engage and motivate learners.

Project-based learning & assessment

Students will work together on projects during the course. They are assessed on the development process, and final product, presentation or performance. The final product may consist of student-produced videos, websites, posters and/or presentations.

Developing thinking and academic skills for university

In addition to developing their English skills, students will be introduced to valuable thinking and academic skills to prepare them for their future higher education:

  • Research and presentation skills.

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Leadership and teamwork skills.

  • Academic integrity awareness and avoiding plagiarism.

"Future Me" soft skills workshops

The "Future Me" soft skills workshops are professionally designed for teens to develop necessary skills that will assist them to succeed in the future. The workshops are targeted at developing two important skill sets: Career planning & Life skills.

 

The "Future Me" workshops are additional sessions to the 60 hours of the course. Therefore we can equip students with new skills without reducing the time available to focus on developing essential language skills. Please read more in our brochure.

Modern international university environment

​Students can access:
The University’s modern library with thousands of books on a wide range of disciplines. It also has many graded readers which are designed for language learners.

Ready for IELTS & international university

The eight levels of the English for Teens Program are approximately equivalent to IELTS bands. Students' learning outcomes are guaranteed in the English for Teens Program when they finish Advanced, Advanced Plus and Proficiency levels. If their official IELTS test result does not meet the outcome band score of your course, they can repeat one course free of charge*, please read more in our brochure.
